My Way

My Way is about that feeling when you’re close to someone, but something still feels distant inside. The story follows Venna through a full day in New York City, moving in and out of moments where he feels connected to his love interest and moments where he doesn’t. I wanted to show how two people can be right next to each other while living in completely different emotional worlds, but also how amazing those intimate moments feel when your worlds finally align for a second. And when you’re apart, those quick flashes of memory can hit you out of nowhere and make that person feel close again, even when they’re not around.
