Concept

My Way explores the feeling of being close to someone while still feeling emotionally distant. It looks at how two people can exist in the same space but experience completely different realities.

Approach

The film moves between connection and distance without clearly announcing it.
Instead of relying on dialogue, I focused on rhythm, pacing, and visual contrast to carry that feeling.

The story follows Venna through a day in New York, moving in and out of moments where connection feels real and moments where it slips away.

Execution

Shot with a fluid, intimate camera that stays close but never intrusive. Transitions are fragmented and memory-like, creating distance even within closeness. Color and pacing shift subtly to reflect emotional states rather than narrative structure.
